Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Jack Shepherd has been performing stand-up comedy for over 20 years. He was a regular at local comedy clubs, and eventually landed a spot on BET's Comic View which led to other big name appearances; Apollo Comedy Hour, multiple appearances on BET’s Comic View and Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam. Jack has performed with comedians such as Martin Lawrence, Cedric the Entertainer, Jeff Foxworthy and even the late Richard Pryor. Currently, he performs on the road with comedian/actor Faizon Love. In addition to his busy traveling comedy schedule Jack spent 9 years as the weekly host of his own comedy night at the local Funny Bone Comedy club.  In 2011, Jack wrote, produced, co-director and starred in his first independent film "Political Promise" which was picked up and distributed by Maverick Entertainment. In 2015, Jack released his stand-up comedy film "Jack Live Matters" through Urban Home Entertainment and in 2017 Jack was the star and producer of "Holy Hustle" distributed by Leo Mark Studios. Jack's next movie "A Family Affair" is currently in pre-production.
